The breakfasts will consist of low carb muffins, breakfast
quiches and a range of traditional breakfasts like omelettes,
bacon and eggs, etc.

The lunches consist of a range of burger patties, mini
sosaties, chicken strips, fish bites, spare ribs, mini
meatballs, sausages, chicken wings, chicken livers, etc in
the form of mini platters containing 2 or 3 of these items.
You have the option of adding a green salad to any of these
meals. This is of course not compulsory and it is in fact
better not to add the salad as you will experience better
results by not adding it.

We recommend that you buy some of the following low carb
salad ingredients on a weekly basis to add to your meals if
required. Lettuce, cucumber, peppers, baby tomatoes, onion,
mushroom and cabbage. These items are very low in carbs and
can be consumed with your meals. You can also add some of
the following products to add flavour to your salad: cheese
(cheddar, feta, etc.), crispy bacon bits, olives and
avocado. You can put some olive oil, mayonnaise, vinegar,
salt and pepper on your salad.

Dinner consists of a range of meat and poultry dishes with
one seasonal low-carb vegetable.

If you experience hunger between meals you can eat a small
portion of biltong(the fattier the better), cheese or pork
crackling. You can also eat a small portion of nuts like
macadamias and pecans. You can eat a portion of 50grams of
one of these snacks per day.
These snacks are only if you get hungry between meals, your
weight loss will be better and faster if you do not eat
snacks between your meals. Also try to avoid the nuts for
the first 2 weeks and check the carb counts of the nuts as
certain nuts are much higher in carbs than others.

For the best results, you should drink only water with the
Diet in a Box system. This will give you the best and
fastest results in terms of weight loss. This is especially
important during the first 2 weeks.
You are also allowed to drink caffeine free coffee or health
teas like rooibos to which you can add an artificial
sweetener like LCSA liquid sweetener, Suganon, Natreen or
Canderel. You are not allowed to use milk, but you can use a
combination of half cream and half water instead of milk.
Limit your intake of these drinks to a maximum of two per
day.
If you want to drink soft drinks they must be sugar free and
limit them to one can per day.
You are not allowed to consume any alcohol on this program
because while there is alcohol in your blood stream your
body will not burn any fat for energy. If you do want to use
alcohol, limit it to a maximum of two drinks per week and
avoid beer and sweet wine and rather drink spirit alcohol
like whiskey, brandy, vodka, etc.
Let me again make it clear that by drinking anything other
than water you will slow down your weight loss and it will
take you longer to lose the weight. I therefore strongly
advise that you drink only water during your weight loss
phase.
